Personality: friendly, calm, easy to handle, focused on her person
Favorite things: her own bed, working on commands, playing with the hose
Training: this girl is smart and it’s clear that she’s been trained
Exercise: because she’s a Belgian Malinois, puzzles, finding things, and practicing with her handler will exercise her brain as well as her body. Other than that, 2 daily neighborhood walks will suit her fine.
Care status: spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
Special notes: Betsy was brought to the shelter by her owner. She had impaled herself on a fence, and the owner waited six days before bringing her to the shelter with a large, untreated wound. We rescued her that same day and got her straight to our vet, where she underwent surgery.
