Personality: calm, chill, friendly, wise
Favorite things: Big Papa wants to do what you want to do. He's happy to go on leisurely walks, accompany you on errands, and be your family dog.
Training: knows basic commands and is treat-motivated when you want to teach him something new
Exercise: would do well with one or two daily neighborhood walks
Care status: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
Special notes: Big Papa is a very special boy. He was recently featured on KTLA5 News as their Pet of the Week! He is calm and quiet and very affiliative with people. He is playful with other dogs and loves his toys. Everyone who knows him loves him and can't believe he is still at the shelter.

Best match: an all-around good dog for a couple, large family, or single person who wants a buddy
Other dogs? can be initially shy with other dogs, but warms up and does well in playgroup
Cats? unknown
Kids? Big Papa can get jumpy when he's happy, so we'd say no little kiddos, but older kids are fine
