Personality: friendly, mellow, and chill
Favorite things: loves to play with other dogs and participate in groups
Training: knows basic commands and shows them off
Exercise: he’s low-to-medium energy - a short neighborhood walk or two every day is what he needs
Care status: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
Special notes: Candle is a very special boy. He is friendly with adults, kids, and dogs. The fact that he's a large, jowly dude in an era where everyone wants a medium-sized dog is why he hasn't been adopted.

Best match: would do well in a single family home with people who could walk him and continue his training

Kids? Candle lived with children who were 10, 9, and 4 years old. They report that he is crate trained, house trained, and loves to play so much that he won't leave the park! They also report he's playful with kids. Probably would do best with older kids who can walk him and give him space.
Additional info: Candle’s owners had to relinquish him to the shelter because their landlord wouldn't allow him
