ABOUT CHARLIE
Personality: happy-go-lucky, friendly, and super affectionate
Favorite things: neighborhood walks, hanging out while his person works outside, curling up on his dog bed
Training: knows basic commands and walks nicely on leash
Exercise: a medium-energy dog - packed on a few lbs in the shelter that should come off with a couple daily neighborhood walks and games of fetch
Care status: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
Special notes: Charlie came to the shelter with his brother Max. Max was adopted alone, so Charlie is left wondering where everyone is. He's been in the shelter for more than a minute, and could really use an adopter or even a foster! He just wants to be someone's best friend.
THE IDEAL HOME
Best match: Would do best with an active family or couple. He's a smart boy, so someone who could work with him on commands and even tricks would be so much fun for him

Kids? friendly with kids, likes to jump in your lap - so maybe no toddlers
Additional info: Charlie would do best in a single-family home with a yard. He could happily live in a townhome with someone who worked from home and could take him out for fresh air and potty breaks multiple times a day.
