Exercise needs: 2 neighborhood walks are good for Mariner, but he could do more
Care status: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
Special notes: Mariner was found "in the field" by an animal control officer, who had nothing but nice things to say about him. Rumor has it that Mariner has been someone's office buddy at the shelter.

Best match: Mariner would be a great family pet. He's a big boy (he can stand to lose a few lbs.), so maybe kids over 8 years old.
Other dogs? friendly with other dogs
Cats? unknown
Kids? Mariner has a mellow demeanor and is likely kid-friendly but should probably not live with little kiddos or toddlers who he could knock down
