Personality: friendly, playful, seeks affection, a real people-pleaser
Favorite things: enjoys leash walks "off campus" from the shelter, likes taking a dip in the kiddie pool on hot days
Training: knows basic commands and is responsive to his handler
Exercise: would do well with one or two neighborhood walks every day, acts like a puppy and likes to burn off steam
Care status: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
Special notes: Max is gleeful in the play yard and has been very well-behaved at adoption events. He will take a minute to warm up to you but then he's your personal lap dog!

Best match: would do well with a family with kids and other dogs, a home with a backyard would be a bonus
Other dogs? mingles well with other dogs in the shelter's playgroup, including small dogs

Kids? friendly with kiddos 6 years and older (since he can knock down the little ones)
